At about 2 p.m. Police confirmed that 2 children and 1 adult died in the crash on southbound I 75 near Springwells. The accident happened around 9:30 a.m. Thursday. It also left between 20 and 25 people hurt.

The highway is expected to reopen around 3 p.m.
